Welcome to the current draft of the Pacific Islands Framework for Nature Conservation and Protected Areas 2021-2025, the strategic policy framework for conservation in our region. This draft has been prepared following a review of the 2014-2020 Framework and an extensive regional consultation process throughout this year.
The Conference on Nature Conservation and Protected Area is a forum for the Pacific conservation community to comment on the draft Framework. The input of Conference attendees is critical for the success of the Framework – please do take the time to browse this draft and to give your feedback through the form here.
Following the Conference, the draft Framework will be updated to reflect feedback received and the key messages emerging in the Conference sessions. The text will be finalised in early 2021.
